Forget those 57 Chevy's, this 1957 Ford Thunderbird is just as much a poster car for the 50's!! This classic was owned by a single family since its purchase brand new in 1957. It only has 92,000 original miles which equals out to less than 2,000 miles per year! The paint and body on this classic is pristine. It was smoothed out and coated in a beautiful red that looks great in the sunlight. The chrome is all in amazing condition and in place. All of the trim, bumpers, bezels, and more were completely re-chromed to a perfect finish. The car rides on classic spoke wheels with wide white wall radial tires which are perfect for this car. No corners were cut in the restoration of this amazing show car. The original 312 V8 was completely gone through and rebuilt professionally. Only the best parts were used in its rebuild. It starts up the first time and doesn't smoke. It has a smooth idle and sounds great through all stainless exhaust. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this classic and it runs and drives like new. The automatic transmission shifts in perfect sync and very smoothly. The interior was done in a matching red and it looks perfect. The dash has been completely left original with all of the original style gauges and AM/FM/Cassette player. All of correct knobs and switches are in the correct location and working. The original style steering wheel is in place with a working horn. The car has both a hardtop and a new black convertible top which are both easy to operate. It is a great driver and very fun to drive. The power steering and power brakes work as they should and make driving just that much easier. The car comes with all books and records. This classic would do any collection proud!
