Descripción
This AS350 B2 is a lightweight, single engine, five (5) seat helicopter equipped with an Arriel 1B turbine engine. Featuring high-tech equipment, a comfortable cabin and a design that is largely based on composite materials for components such as blades, Starflex type main rotor hub, airframe, and cowlings, it has an outstanding proven track record.
The Starflex rotor head and modular design provide long service life as well as simplified maintenance procedures, at substantially lower costs.
Reliability is enhanced by the simple, rugged design of the Arriel 1B turbine engine. Downtime is reduced by the modular construction of the engine which consists of five (5) replaceable sub-assemblies.
This chopper’s speed and range combined with a roomy, quiet cabin make it suitable for a variety of missions from EMT to executive transport, and its easy maintenance features make it particularly well suited for operation in severe climates.
